Happy New Year!!

Hello everyone,

I have a quick card to share.  On this card, I stamped my lanterns (Butterfly Silk) in a rainbow of colors, added the sentiment (Greetings) and few enamel dots.

I want to wish you best of luck, happiness and good health for the New Year!

Thinking of You

Hello friends,

Today, I'm sharing a card made with Crafter's Companion products: Floral Fancies, Dreamy Daisies, Hessian embossing folder, and Spectrum Noir markers (BP2, PL1, PP1, CG1).

I created my texture background with the embossing folder.  On a piece of card stock, I stamped, colored my Hibiscus flowers and cut them.  The sentiment stripe was white embossed.  Finally, I assembled my flowers and the sentiment over the textured panel.

Thanks for stopping by, have a wonderful day!

Merry Christmas!!!

Merry Christmas everyone!

I have a non-traditional colored Christmas card to share.  I want the card to be cheerful and fun, so I chose Distress Inks: worn lipstick, tumbled glass, and mustard seed for the background.  The stamps used on this card were: Santa's DeliverySeason's Greetings.  To color Santa's sleigh, I used several markers:  Spectrum Noir (TN6, FS3, DR1, and DG3), Sparkle Pens (harvest moon, aquamarine, and clear).

I hope you have a wonderful time with your loved ones!

A Card for Simon Says Challenges

Hello,

Just a quick post to share a card created for Simon Says Wednesday Challenge: Make It Sparkle and Simon Says Monday Challenge: Winter Wonderland.  I used SSS Snowflake dies on some glittered paper to make the snowflakes.  The sentiment is from TAWS Mistletoe Kisses.  And the background is Distress Ink Tumbled Glass.

Red and Gold Joy Card

Hello,

Today, I'm sharing a bold color Christmas card using inlaid technique.  This Joy die is by Crafter's Companion.  First, I place the die on a piece of red card stock, ran it through my Big Shot.  Before removing the Joy image, I placed a piece of double sided tape behind the card stock, so when I removed the image, the negative detailed pieces stay put.  Next, I die cut "Joy" on a piece of gold card stock, and placed it on the red card stock.  It'd fit right in between the red details.

Thank you so much for visiting, have a great day!

Silent Night

Hello friends,

Have you finished making Christmas cards?  I still have more to make.  This is one of the designs I made for my kids' teacher.  I made a box of cards as a Christmas gift.

This card is so easy to make.  I started out with masking the borders on my card base.  I used Distress Inks Faded Jeans, and Dusty Concord to create the night background.  The pine trees are part of the Die'sire Scenic Pines die by Crafter's Companion.  I die cut and adhered the pine trees over my background using foam tape then added Diamond Stickles glue.  The sparkles against the dark background is very beautiful in person.  Sentiment is from Season's Greetings.

Thanks for stopping by.  Have a great day!

Paper Sweeties December 2015 Challenge

Hello,

Here's the card I created for Paper Sweeties December Challenge using Stitched Tags #3 stamp and die.  The contrast of gold, and red is just gorgeous.  I used mixed color sequins to represent that contrast.  The present was stamped then die cut.  I added some green Copic around the edges.  I hope to see you playing along with us!
