TAWS May 2015 Release - Sneak Peek Day 2 - Something's Fishy

Hello friends, for TAWS May Sneak Peek, I used images in 2 sets: Something's Fishy and Little Fellas.  I colored my snakes with Copic markers, and fussy cut them.  For the background, i die cut a small panel then used distress ink Peacock Feather, and added some water splatter.  The wave was made using a Fiskars border punch.  The sentiment is also from the set Little Fellas.

Papertrey Ink April 2015 Blog Hop

Hello friends, today i'm participating in Papertrey Ink April Blog Hop.  I was inspired by the gorgeous colors, but decided to make a clean and graphic card, and omitted the flowers.

To make this card, i used the cover plate circles die and cut 3 different pieces of card stock: navy blue, hot pink (texture), and soft pink.  I used the inlay technique to add the pink pieces onto the navy blue frame.  It really helps if you have a small pair of tweezers. I have this and LOVE it.  Next i die cut super swoosh hello word using luxe gold card stock and adhered on a white panel using glossy accents, then used foam tape to adhere on my background.  Finally, i added few clear sequins also using glossy accents.  I highly recommend transferring your glossy accents to this fluid pen.  No more clogging glossy accents.

Thanks for stopping by... have fun hopping!

Love this luxe gold card stock...

Blast Off!

Hello,

Today i'm sharing another card made by TAWS sets called Blast Off, and Phone Home.  I simply created this background using a stencil by Crafter's Workshop.  I distressed the center with Mustard Seed, then moved outward with Chipped Sapphire then Black Soot.  I colored my rocket with Copic markers and adhered on my base using foam tape.  For the sentiment trip, i just stamped and trimmed it by hand.  Next Iglued it over gold glitter paper and trimmed it to add the thin borders.  Sentiment strip was also mounted on foam tape.

Thanks for stopping by.  Have a great day!

Supplies:
Stamps: TAWS (Blast Off, Phone Home)
Inks: Rangers (Mustard Seed, Chipped Sapphire, Black Soot), Versaink
Others: Copic markers, Crafter's Workshop (Burst stencil)

You Are Wonderful!

Hello,

My card for today was made for Virginia's View Challenge #14: Layers.  Layering is out of my comfort zone, so i try to keep the color scheme simple by using white and vellum.  I die cut a panel that was distressed with different colors and used it as a backdrop for my layers.

I hope you like it.  Thanks for visiting and all your wonderful comments!
