Papertrey Ink February 2016 Blog Hop

Hello friends,

I made this card to join in PTI February Blog Hop.  All stamps and dies are PTI's: Meadow Green, Rosie Posie, Think Big Favorite #10, and Love Potion Die.

I started out with masking the bottom part of my card, and added distress ink above the masking line.  Before removing the masking tape, I stamped my fern directly on the card stock.  Next I added the large beaker die over the fern.  My flowers were embossed on vellum and adhered over the beaker using foam tape.  Finally the sentiment and few gold sequins to complete the look.

I hope you like it.  Thanks so much for visiting.  Have a wonderful day!

  16. *sigh* This card makes me happy. It has to be one of the prettiest in the gallery. Brilliant idea to use the beaker for a vase; it really works well. The ferns are soft and lovely, but those flowers on the vellum are stunning. Wonderful card. Love it! Bev

  17. Great way to ground your vase, Emily! Now why don't I emboss on vellum more often as I love your results.
