Runway Inspired Challenge #17 - Carlos Miele

I got sometimes to play along with the ladies at Runway Inspired Challenge this week.  I really love Laura's vibrant colored card.  I used her technique, but with Copic markers.  I blended several colors together and die cut it.  "Birthday" is from an older Stampin' Up stamp.

A tiny rhinestone is added to finish the look...

Thanks for looking!!

Cardstock: PTI (white)
Stamp: PTI (pretty peonies), Stampin' Up (birthday sentiment)
Other: Hero Arts (rhinestone), Copic (YR04, Y08, YG01, YG03, YG95, V15, and RV19)

  1. Darling design with the negative diecut, Emily! Beautifully done!

  2. Nice! I really like the bright blended colours on the "HAPPY". Thanks for sharing the technique. Love your card, Emily!

  3. Thank you so much for your comments.

  4. Simple, yet stunning! I love the blend of colors on your sentiment. Thanks for joining us on the Runway!

  5. that is a cool idea and very well done! I didn't realize PTI had a die cut for this...hmmm, maybe I need to check this out!

  6. I remember seeing this card before; when you entered it for the RIC, and I loved it then. I thought I had left a comment, but looks like I didn't... I really like how simple and striking this card is! The little rhinestone on Birthday is just the perfect touch!
