The Play Date Cafe - PDCC117

I love the soft colors of this week's challenge at The Play Date Cafe's blog. Here's my take on the challenge.

The butterflies are stamped on vellum using Brilliant ink. I layered them to add more dimensions. I love the final look of the butterflies :). Thanks for stopping by!!

Supplies:

  • Stamps: Hero Arts (butterfly is from HA/Sizzix stamp & die cut combo), Verve Stamps (sentiment from Circular Sayings set)
  • Patterned Paper: Recollections (Portobello Road)
  • Ink: Rangers Industry (Distressed Ink Vintage Linen); Tsukineko (Memento Tuxedo Black)
  • Other tool: Spellbinders (Labels Eighteen)

  2. The butterflies look so awesome on vellum! There's just the right amount of translucency.

Thanks for leaving me some tips on cameras, Emily. I really appreciate it! I checked out the T3i, and yikes, I might have to go for the T2i because of the price difference. Do you have any experience with that one?

Thanks so much for playing with us at The Play Date CAfe! Hope to see you soon!
